It's time for the Summer Fun Contest (again with apologies to those of you who actually are experiencing winter right now)!

Contest Rules
1. Contest theme: summertime! Possible ideas can include beach trips, pool parties, picnics, festivals, and vacations.
2. There will be four submission categories, and all will be judged separately: Fanfic, Fanart, Fan Animation (.gif), and Fan Comic (doujinshi). (In the case of no submissions in a category, the category will be combined with fan art.)
3. Only one submission per artist/writer per category.
4. Must include at least one Sand Sib, obviously, but may include any other canon characters (like Shikamaru with Temari) or OCs
5. Fanfics must not exceed 3500 words.
6. All entries must be rated no more than PG-13/T+. We need to make sure all members can read/view the entries.
7. When you submit work, send a note entitled "contest submission" with the link.
8. Deadline is July 4th at midnight EST.

CONTEST PRIZES
The winners will each get spend a week (minimum) as the featured deviation.

CLUB RULES
1. Members must send a note entitled "Join" in order to become part of the club.
2. You must put the club icon in your journal or siggy.
3. NEVER FAV A WORK IN THE GALLERY. This gets us in trouble with DA, and we could be banned for it.
4. Be sure you have your creative commons license activated or that you say in your comments box on your deviation that we have permission to post your work. If not, the club can be banned even if you give us permission via note.
5. When you want to submit artwork or fan fiction, just send a note entitled "Submission" with the link. Submissions should showcase Gaara, Kankuro, and/or Temari but do not have to include all three.
6. Only submit three works per week. If you submit more than three per week we will chose which three to upload, and it will be your responsibility to track what we have and haven't added.
7. Cosplay has been discontinued as a category. Sorry.
8. If you see any current problems with the club or the submissions just send a note. We will take care of it.
9. All submissions--contest or normal--need to be rated K, K+, T, or T+. No M-rated submissions, please, because many of our members are minors.
10. In order to affiliate with us, send a note entitled "Affiliate."
